Our aim is to provide those working with vulnerable people with the most up to date information, practice guidance, training and consultancy available. We share our customers’ aspiration to ensure the services which they provide improve the lives of those they support through effective staff development.
Antser’s Learning and Development function, Antser Learning, offers training and consultancy to professionals working with children, young people, adults and their families. Our training courses are current within the context of best practice, legislation and research. We provide training on a nationwide basis, but seek to engage associates regionally, dependent on their location.
About The Role
We are currently seeking to recruit qualified and experienced Associate Trainers to join our team.
PREFERRABLE SKILLS:
- A qualified health or social care professional.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- A qualified Social Worker.
- Experience of adult social care (either local authority or provider services), or of supporting adults with care and support needs in a health context.
- Well-developed communication, facilitation and training skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service.
- A commitment to maintaining own knowledge and understanding of case law, legislation, regulations, guidance and best practice.
- Able to use online training platforms (Zoom and Microsoft Teams) or a commitment to learn these skills.
You will primarily deliver courses within our portfolio, with scope to add your own flare and specialist knowledge. There will also be opportunities to develop new training courses with us, drawing upon your own experiences and areas of interest.

- The Mental Capacity Act in Practice
- Deprivation of Liberty in Health, Social Care and Community Settings
- Deprivation of Liberty: Preparing for the Future
- Court skills – Giving written and oral evidence to the court of protection
- Safeguarding Adults Enquiry Skills
- Self-Neglect and Hoarding in the Context of Safeguarding
- Dementia care (Advanced skills)
- Dignity in Care
We provide training on a nationwide basis and training delivery may be face-to-face or virtual, depending on the customer’s needs.
We seek to engage associates to deliver training in the region they are based, but welcome applicants willing and able to travel to other geographical locations on occasion.
