Supporting best practice across 95% of local authorities in England
Our online procedures and handbooks underpin social care practice and safeguarding partnership, promoting the best possible outcomes for children. They support good practice in an increasingly complex legislative framework, offering clarity and authority in areas where there is a clear statutory obligation, yet also encourage creativity and best practice.
In addition to our online procedures for children’s services, we are also leading the field in expert witness and family-based assessments for 20 years, our team of over 500 retained psychologists, psychiatrists, paediatricians, and social workers deliver over 15,000 assessments every year.

Expert witness and family-based assessments
Our process is underpinned by 3 core values – quality, efficiency, and value.
Our nationwide network of experts, all of whom who have been subject to a rigorous recruitment process that is compliant with the Ministry of Justice Quality Standards for experts, are at the heart of the company and our reputation relies on their excellence.
On receipt of a referral our experienced team will offer a choice of experts, along with cost estimates and timescales. We ensure that those experts have a skill set tailored to your needs and are local to you. We can do this on the same day, usually within the hour. Most assessments are completed within 6 weeks of instruction, although shorter timescales can often be secured.
All assessments can be completed remotely or in person either on a fixed fee basis or, for assessments within legal proceedings, at legal aid rates.
We provide social work assessments: Form F, PAR, Connected Persons and Special Guardianship as well as Expert witness assessments: Psychologist, Psychiatrist and Paediatrician.
