- Have ability to communicate with, understand and effectively interact with people with different cultures
- Understand of what diversity and ethnicity is and how it relates to social care
- Use practical tools to assist practitioners when speaking with families, children young people and vulnerable adults and elderly.
Description
The aim of this course is to raise awareness and explore issues of race, culture, faith, ethnicity and diversity, and how these affect the process and safeguarding of children, for professionals and families.
This course is delivered by our expert facilitators who will bring their first hand experience and tailor the course to suit your learning needs.

- Defining culture
- Research and evidence about different cultures, faiths and ethnicities and understand how these impact practice
