Train The Trainer 1 day Refresher

The course will cover:

• A safeguarding and legislative update from the previous two years and understand the relevance of these updates in reviewing training delivery and materials used.
• Discuss training delivery; including the training styles used and how to overcome some practical challenges that have been experienced whilst delivering training.
• Apply a range of tools to facilitate effective inter-professional learning, supporting networking and exchanging of best practice
• Go through the template of the most up to date training delivery tools, including an amendable presentation, delivery techniques and styles, case studies and safeguarding practice reviews that are age and topic appropriate to each organisation.
• Develop own practice and identify strengths and development areas relevant to facilitation of training and/or child protection processes, including local safeguarding children partnership strategic policies and procedures.
