Learning outcomes
- Demonstrate an understanding of the purpose and process of good care planning
- Understand when to start the care plan for children
- Understand the legal framework for care planning for the individual needs of the child, including permanence planning
- Understand how to establish the families capacity to change
- Create good quality plans for children who require permanence, which are both evidence based and analytical
- Understand the role of planning in reunification of children, using the NSPCC framework & toolki
